Davids has come a long way since opening in Waterloo. I have enjoyed great coffee, pasta sauces, fantastic deli sandwiches and desserts priced right and etremely delicious. Staffing attentive and relaxed. I find the store easier to manoever through than Vinenzos and no long line ups at the check out. Keep up the good work!!

Service was lacking, frozen everything, pasta salads looked like they were sitting for a long, long, time almost barffed from the sample that I tried, when I told the staff that it had gone bad she laughed and said it happens all the time. I couldn't believe it. I won't go back.

A lot of products that I could find at any major grocer. His prices are higher than Vincenzos too. Atmosphere of store is lacking... looking to me more like a M&S shop at a train station.

He donated to our charity twice now for the cancer society golf tournament. Carmine at Vincenzo's refused us both times. He is a great guy, met him many times.

I don't think he or anyone has an issue with The Homeless being fed.

ATTITUDE IS TERRIBLE - DAVID IS FEATURED IN THE KW RECORD COMPLAINING ABOUT THE HOMELESS & HUNGRY GETTING FREE FOOD, FROM CHURCH GROUPS, BY HIS NEW KING STREET LOCATION - MAYBE BEFORE OPENING A 'GOURMET' STORE IN A DOWNTOWN LOCATION HE SHOULD SURVEY THE AREA TO SEE IF THE HOMELESS & HUNGRY ARE UP TO HIS STANDARDS & HAVE THEM AGREE TO HIDE SO HE DOESN'T HAVE TO SEE SUCH PROBLEMS. FOOD MAYBE GREAT, BUT I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN EITHER LOCATION BECAUSE OF THIS ARTICLE IN THE RECORD.

The food is wonderful, and the desserts are to die for. David's is a very well put together business. The employees are very nice and like to have fun with what they do.
