Great local Chinese restaurant. We've always enjoyed it. Fresh, fast, delicious and very reasonable.

i have been to at least 548 chinese restaurants across ontario. as a food critic i know what it takes to deliver an excellent experience.

1. a front door this front door must be welcoming and a have a little bell on it so people know your here. kam yin has an extremely large bell

2. a pond with fish in. heck ya they have a huge pond with many fish in it. when you're reading the 3 year old magazines and are getting bored you look to the fish.

3. dishes that contain ingredients that you have no idea what they are, is it a vegetable, is it an animal? who knows and who cares, its KAM YIN

Food is fresh and tasty. We've tried many take out chinese food places in the vicinity and this is by far the best tasting food and the most economical as well. We get it at least once a month. We occasionally dine in the restaurant and find service is not what it could be, although I think it has improved over the last few months. Maybe they read these reviews too! My only peeve is that they don't take debit which is very inconvenient at times. Overall, I'd highly recommend it!

I don't have alot of money and the prices are good and especially the lunch time where you can get 3 items for under $10. Most of all is the food has always been really tasty. One of those waiters is quite rude often. But Tony is wonderful so we ask for him when we go. To those who say the food sucks then go somewhere else, but for me and all friends we have good taste and so does this restaurant!

One word people disgusting. Seriously, think of Manchu Wok on a bad day. This restaurant is preferred by seniors because they LIKE bland food. No, no, no. Should've walked out the second I saw the average age of the patrons...

Food is always fresh. when we decide on chinese we always head to Kam Yin.

The food is quite good most of the time. however i found it a little discusting to eat there after i read there reviews on our regional health website! needless to say im afraid to ask what goes on in that kitchen. despite the food being good, the service is dispicable. the older gentlemen working there are extremly (!!) rude, and are very unacomodating. i am not expecting 5 star service but friendly service would be good. i am vegetarian and ask for my favourite dish without the meat. the server gets angry about my request 99% of the time, claims he cant do it, and if he ever agree's i often find meat in my dish dispite my polite request! overall, good food, horrible service

It would be great if they had an online menu...

I have been to many Chinese restaurants in the K/W area and Kam Yin is hands down the best one in my opinion. I have been ordering from them for many years and they have the best prices and their food is always fresh. When we have guests and decide to order out, Kam Yin is our choice, and our guests always compliment us on the great Chinese food. A must try in my opinion!

disgusting hard cooked so-called food with deplorable service..how are they still in business???

$42 for a meal that feeds 6 people and ready in 10 minutes.
Unbelieveable food and unbelievable service.
You gotta love Kam Yin's.

ok now this has to be the best resturant i have ever ate at its deleivery pick up the whole works and the food comes in 5-10 minutes its ridiculous the prices are extremely low too !!!!!!!!1

My wife and I have only ordered take out from Kam Yin and I must say that the food has always been excellent. I would definitley recommend this restauarnt to everyone.
